The Path to True Happiness: Embracing Contentment and Gratitude
Finding Abundance in a Life Fulfilled by Purpose and Relationships
Being wealthy or affluent is about much more than money. Only a poor person sees money as true wealth. Real wealth is being free to live your life and positively impact others and the world. Pursuing your passion and providing for your loved ones makes you truly wealthy.
Real wealth is living with gratitude, being generous, and living for others. It is more about wisdom than money. It means living a fulfilling life with purpose and contentment.
Think with me on a few things.
Money cannot buy happiness or contentment. Money cannot fill a vacuum; it makes one.
A man is rich or poor according to what he is, not what he has
A fortune is the habit or attitude of making the best of everything and always looking on the bright side.
Contentment with godliness is great gain. Having fewer desires and being content with what you have is an excellent source of wealth. The wealthiest person is the one who has found contentment, not the one with the most zeroes in their net worth. True happiness comes not from material possessions but from within. No amount of money can fill the void of an unfulfilled life. Contentment must come from finding purpose, cultivating relationships, and appreciating life's simple joys.
"He who is not contented with what he has, would not be contented with what he would like to have." Socrates
A person who uplifts civilization is rich, even if they die broke.
Money cannot make a man happy, but character and contentment can—greed and constantly wanting more lead to poverty of the soul.
Superficial things should not mislead young people who wish to succeed but should focus on what truly matters.
The richer is content with the least.
A large sum in a bank account does not equate to wealth for a person. The wealthiest person does not have the biggest bank account but needs little to be satisfied. By keeping desires modest and being grateful for what you have, you will find the richness money cannot provide.
"Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants." EpictetusIndividuals find true contentment internally, not through external belongings or status symbols. The relentless pursuit of wealth, status, and possessions only leads to confinement. Perpetually dissatisfied individuals who are greedy continuously desire more. However, liberate yourself from this avarice and discover true riches - inner tranquility and independence.
I Was Not Called
“I cannot go,” I hear you say. “It’s not my work;
I was not called. Too bad so many die that way,
Without a hope, without a God,
But here at home I have to stay.”
But then I hear my Savior say, “It was my work to die for you.
In Heav’n I did not please to stay.
I came to earth not for a few,
But all should know I am the Way.”
“I cannot go,” I hear you say. “My child is small
And he needs all the world can give him today.
It would not do to be so cruel
To one who cannot choose his way.”
And then I hear my Father say, “I gave My Son,
My only One, to give the world the only Way.
He suffered all upon the cross.
Can you do less for Me today?”
“I cannot go,” I hear you say. “It takes so much
Of strength and grace. I have no talents to display,
My faith is weak; right here I’ll stay.
The smart and strong go far away.”
I hear my Lord and Master say, “Have you not read
Within My Word, ‘Ye are vessels made of clay?’
I choose the weak to give My strength.
Let all who will serve Me today.”

Would You Consider Helping this dear pastor and church

Dear brothers,
I am writing to you on behalf of the Abundant Life Baptist Church to share with you an urgent need that we are facing in our church. As the pastor of our congregation, we have witnessed a constant growth in the number of believers and activities in our church. This growth has led us to consider the need to improve our facilities in order to continue serving our community effectively.
Currently, one of the most pressing challenges we face is the need to improve the roof of our main building. The current roof, due to its age and condition, does not provide adequate protection against the elements, especially during the rainy season. This not only negatively affects our internal activities, but also jeopardizes the integrity of our facilities and equipment.
After a thorough evaluation, we have determined that the best solution for this situation is the installation of a metal roof with approximately 200m2 of zinc sheeting. The total estimated cost for this project is 24,000 soles, broken down as follows: - Material: 13,000 soles - Labor: 11,000 soles
The Need is approximately $6,500.
Any help would be appreciated.
This project will not only allow us to improve the physical conditions of our premises, but will also provide us with the opportunity to expand our activities and services to the community, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all who visit us.
We understand that this request represents a significant financial challenge for our church. That is why we are appealing to your generosity and support to consider our request for assistance. Any contribution you or your organization can make will be deeply valued and used responsibly to achieve our goals.
We thank you in advance for your consideration and hope to be able to count on your support to make this important project for our church a reality. Your help will make a significant difference in the lives of many people who depend on the services and support of our church. With gratitude and blessings,
Edgar Aragón Conde
Pastor of the Abundant Life Baptist Church Our services.
