Living in God's Grace: The Power and Purpose of His Unconditional Love
Practical Steps to Embrace and Extend God's Unconditional Love
What does the Bible teach about grace?
The Bible uses the word grace.
It can speak of winning qualities or attractiveness that invites a favorable reaction.
It can mean having a kind, caring, and well-meaning attitude toward someone else. Showing goodwill, favor, grace, and a desire to help or do good for another person.
It is also a practical way of showing goodwill, favor, or generosity toward someone through a kind deed or gift.
It can refer to when someone lives with a generous spirit and extends favor to others.
Put all that together in God’s grace towards us.
It is God loving us when we do not deserve it. We did nothing to make Him love us. He loves us because of who He is, not what we do or who we are.
Grace is God giving gifts to us.
You cannot earn, deserve, or even keep grace by something you do.
God’s grace gives us the privilege and right to approach Him and His throne confidently.
God extends His grace to all people.
Grace pays our debt for our sin and gives us the very righteousness of Jesus Christ.
Grace is the opposite of receiving what we deserve.
Grace is greater than the law
