How do men die?
I saw a meme on Facebook about how men die from the neck up and so it intrigued me enough to do some research. I hope you will enjoy this article. Men die from a slow erosion of the soul.
Men die in many ways and there are many famous quotes to accompany the cause for each death. I love the Toby Keith song with the video of Clint Eastwood, “Don’t Let the Old Man In.” I believe that is much of the answer to this dilemma. None of us want to die from the neck up.
My parents both suffered from dementia. It was terrible to see a healthy body living when the mind was gone. It was hard on the family and it had to be hard on them too. So think with me over the following quotes.
We are all going to die but we don’t want to stop living till our body does. Rejection, failure, heartache, and disappointments can slowly kill the spirit if you let them. So don’t let your yesterdays steal your todays.
We must hold fast to our vision of a better tomorrow. For it is our dreams that give us purpose, that fuel our passion for life. And as long as we hold onto them, we can never truly die before it is over.
