Learn to reason.
Talk to people and listen to learn.
Ask questions more than you make statements.
Find a mentor.
Get coaching.
Try something new.
Step Out of your comfort zone.
Stay curious.
Challenge your brain.
Keep a journal.
Grow spiritually
Begin meditating on the Word of God and truth.
Start each day in the Word, and find truths you can think about all day. It is my practice to start each day doing the following:
Truth
Trust
Thanks
I find a truth in the Scripture about my identity in Christ.
I write it down,
Then I write a note to myself about how I will trust God that His truth is the truth.
Then I thank Him for what He is doing in my life.
This is my meditation plan.
Find a quiet place where you can block as many distractions as possible.
Get involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church. We learn in private and in public. When we assemble around the Word of God, the Holy Spirit does a special work in His people.
Share what you learn with others. The more you share, the more you grow and learn the truths.
3. Carpe diem or Seize the Day
Make the most of every opportunity.
Live each day to the fullest,
Take risks, and make the most of every opportunity.
Live in the moment,
Be adventurous and bold, and
Embrace challenges.
It is time to show your strength, courage, and determination to succeed in all aspects of life.
So wake up early,
Set specific goals,
Prioritize your tasks,
Try new things,
Stay focused, and
Avoid procrastinating.
Live a generous life in gratitude.
You must be manly enough to take advantage of every opportunity that God gives you. Start your learning and growing process and work it faithfully. Know that you are a slave to your habits, so build good habits.
Stand for truth
A real man always speaks the truth, even when it’s complicated.
Consistently stand by your principles and do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
Be open and straightforward in your dealings with others.
Honor your commitments and follow through on your word.
Stand against falsehoods and misinformation, and promote fact-based knowledge.
Acknowledge when you are wrong and take steps to make amends.
Demonstrate truthfulness and integrity in all aspects of your life.
Be a leader
Set the right example in your attitude and actions.
Learn from experienced leaders.
Identify your vision and objectives, then take consistent steps to achieve them.
Commit to continuous personal and professional growth.
Make tough decisions
Show courage and conviction in making difficult choices.
Take ownership
Be accountable for your actions and decisions.
Be strong:
Never give up, even when things get tough.
Young men, it is time to step up and lead in your home. You follow truth, not culture or society.
