In our faith journey, let’s think about something important – our job to tell others about God’s love. It’s sad that some people who call themselves Christians don’t really have a plan to share the good news. We need to think about that and do something.
A long time ago, they made-up words like “clergy” and “laity” that divided church leaders from regular believers. This wasn’t a good idea, especially for telling people about Jesus. The Bible teaches us to work together, and this old way of separating people can mess up our mission.
It’s worrying that lots of folks in church are just sitting back and not really doing much. They’re not helping others, sharing the truth, or bringing people to Jesus. We should be urgent about living out our faith and telling others about God through our actions, prayers, and everyday life.
When we let doubts take over our faith, it’s hard to tell others about God. In a world where we need powerful beliefs, we should confidently say, “I know,” and explain why we have hope.
The saying “believe your beliefs and doubt your doubts” reminds us not to let doubts take over our faith. Doubts come from focusing too much on everyday stuff and not living the way God wants us to. Doubts shouldn’t be what defines our belief in God.
We should know the difference between just talking about God (preaching) and showing others what God’s done in our lives (witnessing). Telling people about our own experiences with God is important because it shows that God’s love is real. Only someone who’s experienced God’s love can really tell others about it.
Every believer, no matter who they are, can make a big difference for God. Even if we’re just regular folks that believe in God, we can still help others in important ways.
In the Bible, Jesus talked about believers being like salt and light. If we don’t share God’s love, it’s like having salt without flavor or a light without brightness–not helpful. Serving God isn’t just about growing personally; it’s a big part of how we live. If we don’t share our faith, it’s like something’s missing from our Christian journey.
For the church to really do its job of telling everyone about God, we all need to change a bit. We should see ourselves as messengers of God’s love, not just a few people, but everyone in the church. Every believer should think of sharing that Jesus died for everyone as an important part of following Him.
In short, every believer needs to share God’s love actively, not just sit back. If we all work together, we can make a big impact not just in the church, but everywhere.
